Right around the corner

So Thanksgiving is right around the corner and I don't have to spend it alone here in Mexico. My parents will be flying in in a few days for 2 whole weeks! I can't wait to share this beautiful place with them. It has been kinda lonely here since I haven't met anyone but I think I have been adjusting well.

Thanksgiving here in Mexico will be a lot different than it has been at home. I won't be eating twice my body weight in food and probably won't have the common Thanksgiving meal. Most likely I will be enjoying some Mexican food with my family, which I don't mind at all.

These are some recent eats that I have had here. Their margaritas here are delicious! A lot different from what I am used to in Ohio. And their tacos are 100% better than Taco Bell :) My two favorite tacos here that I have found are the shrimp taco and the carne asada taco. Both amazing! I don't think I will ever get sick of Mexican food (knock on wood). So far I have been enjoying my time here and work has been going really well too. I definitely would rather be here than cold Ohio. I do miss my two boys though...

I get to see the bf and my Benny in a month for the Christmas holiday, which I can't wait for. The rumor is is that his family Christmas' are the best...we will see about that.
