The last few months I have been challenged with situations in my life. I've just wanted to throw my hands up, give up and tell God it's not fair. I've turned to God to help me with my struggles. I haven't been as close to God as I wanted to be over the years and now I have been looking to him for guidance. If you are going through a tough time right now, maybe look to God for help. Through situations that take the life out of us, we are stronger everyday that we wake up, stronger every time we choose not to give up, stronger every single moment that we overcome. The truth is, that no situation is too big. God has made us overcomers, people capable of enduring and persevering through more than we ever thought imaginable. 

I have been put through these situations to find out how strong I really am, to know just how big my God really is, and to trust that there is a plan and there is always a victory waiting for me. No matter what you are up against right now, remember that God is with you, there is still a fight in you and this situation can only get the best of you if you let it in. This could be a life changing event where you turn and look at yourself and you found a strength that you didn't even know was there. Hang in there!

Saved By The Bell Party

I've never watched Saved By The Bell but my best friend loves the show and always says that I am missing out. I found this awesome dessert table over at Million Dollar Smile Celebration. If you love Saved By the Bell then you will love this party. It will make you feel like you're back in the 90's again.

Picnik is a fun site to edit your photos if you're not so tech savvy in Photoshop. The best part is is that now you get to use Picnik's Premium, which gives you more access to awesome editing tools! 

I edited one of my pictures using some of the premium tools available. I thought it turned out great! What do you think?

Now why didn't I think of that?

Have you ever had a really great idea and find out later that it has already been invented? Then you think to yourself, "hey I thought of that first and could be a billionaire right now!" Well this is how I felt when I saw these awesome products! 

1. This is a awesome creative idea but not sure if it is too practical. Whenever I write notes I have nowhere to put them. I end up throwing them in my purse and when I need it, it's all crinkled or I just can't find it. If your interested in getting a post-it wrist watch you can find it here. The website is in a different language though...

2. Not only would this make my life easier with cutting avocados but for mangos too! This one is from Williams-Sonoma for only $15.00! 

3. I have a broom in my apartment that has so many dust bunnies attached to it. This is a great invention and very practical. I found this over at Quirky for $12.00. The website also has so many other practical inventions for around the house. 

4. There has been so many times that I have cooked ground beef and try to drain the fat by either trying to soak it up with a paper towel or using a pot cover and carefully pouring it out with out dumping the food in the sink. This is something that I could really use. I found this strainer here for only $6.95. 

5. Now that we are in the winter months I am always wearing gloves. The problem that I have is that I can't text or use my phone. I really want to invest in a pair of these one touch smart gloves. These ones are only $10.00 here.

Maybe one day I'll have a great invention that nobody has EVER thought of and become rich! Until then I'll keep dreamin'.

Fit & Fabulous

There seems to always be one resolution that is on almost everyone's list and that is to get in shape. Many commit to this resolution but often lose motivation and give up within a few months. Here is some motivation for those of you who want to get fit. When I look at these, I automatically want to get off my butt and workout. 

Now get out there and get fit!
