I think it is time to change my blog. I would like it to be more classy and simple. So I think I will be making a few changes to it this week and maybe next. As you can see the header has been changed but I am planning on making a few more changes. Looking forward to seeing how it turns out!

Going on a little Adventure
Friday, October 19, 2012
So I have been interning with this wedding company Chris+Lynn photography. They do wedding photography in Mexico. They recently just asked me if I wanted to come to Mexico and intern with them there and also get my housing paid for as well as getting paid! I automatically knew that I wanted to take this amazing opportunity...you only live once.

I will be living in Todos Santos for a few months to get experience in the wedding industry. I will also have some free time and the one thing I look forward to doing is learning how to surf! From what I have seen online, the beaches look devine!
I will be leaving in a few weeks to tackle this new adventure and I have to leave behind the BF and Benny. I will miss them so much but I am lucky that I have an amazing BF who supports me. He will be holding down the fort while I'm gone. I am so excited and I can't wait! xo, China
peas & carrots
Friday, October 12, 2012
Like Forest Gump and Jenny, the bf and I are like Peas & Carrots. We love spending time together and suprisingly we don't get sick of each other. It's the best when I get off of work and I get to come home to my two boys who are so excited to see me.
One thing I love doing is watching the bf play slowpitch. He is the best ones on the team and by far the fastest. He's had atleast 5 in the park homeruns...so yeah...he's pretty quick. His fall ball team won their last two games last night and were crowned champions! Such a proud girlfriend! I also was given a championship t-shirt because I came every game to support the guys.Don't mean to brag but I have a pretty amazing guy in my life :)

Pledge: Day 2
Wednesday, October 10, 2012
Welp I made it to day 2 of my pledge! It might sound crazy but it was a little hard last night to not want to go buy some chips and guac while watching The Reds in the playoffs but I made it through my cravings!
Today for breakfast I had two sunnyside up eggs and a piece of wheat toast. When I came home for lunch I had a salad with this dressing that is to die for...find it here. Some of you might think this next ingredient to my salad is gross but I love the little suckers...SARDINES! The bf also laid me out some turkey burgers for dinner since he was lucky enough to go see game 4 of The Reds playoffs tonight.
Today I am feeling very unmotivated to go to the gym. I do a cycling class that is an hour, which isn't bad at all. One place that gives me inspiration to go to the gym is Pinterest. If you look through their category of Health & Fitness you will find anything and everything to get you back in shape, healthy meal ideas, and tons of photos that make you jealous.
It's time to make a pledge
Tuesday, October 9, 2012
I am making a pledge today for the whole blogging world to see. This will only probably be seen by me, my mom and a few other people who accidently stumble across this blog though. Oh well...
So here is my pledge: I WILL STOP EATING JUNK starting today October 9, 2012.
I will have a count up from today that will show how many days it has been since I have eaten junk over in my sidebar below the sponsors. Now what is considered junk you might ask. Well here is a list of what I consider to be junk:

I will have a count up from today that will show how many days it has been since I have eaten junk over in my sidebar below the sponsors. Now what is considered junk you might ask. Well here is a list of what I consider to be junk:
- Chips (I'm addicted)
- Candy (that includes chocolate..BOO!)
- Fast Food (no brainer)
- Alcohol (drinking empty calories DUH)
- Soda (I don't drink much anyways)
- Ice Cream (This one will be hard)
Here is a few foods that I will be trying to cut back on:
- Bread
- Pasta
- Cheese :(
Wish me luck!

Blessed
Monday, October 8, 2012
I am so lucky to have such an amazing support system in my life. I was lucky enough to get some time off from work to surprise my dad for his birthday. It was great to spend time with my family, brother Smalls, and bff mom.
I am also so lucky to have a wonderful boyfriend and best friend. I don't know how I would get through my days without him.
And of course Benny <3
Apartments on my mind...
Saturday, August 11, 2012
My college apartment lease was up this past week so it was time for me to move out. I am now living in the Cincinnati area with my bf's parents. Yup you heard that right...his parent's house. All I want now is to find my own apartment and be able to live on my own with Benny. I have looked around the area for places and I really have found some that I love. Now all I have been thinking about is how I'll decorate my own place. I found some great ideas on Pinterest.
I love this idea! They used dressers as the headboard!

All the different patterns in this bedroom are so appealing to me. It looks cozy with an urban feel.
The color of this dresser is to die for and I wouldn't mind having that "do what you love" framed in my own place just as a reminder.
This work desk look clean and crisp, perfect for getting my work done.
Hopefully I'll be able to save up and get a beautiful apartment that will look like these images someday soon. And then save up even more money to get my own home!
Summer means Baseball Season
Wednesday, June 27, 2012
It's been a pretty hot summer here in Ohio compared to the west coast where the weather has been oddly low. I was lucky to be able to go to a Reds baseball game on a beautiful afternoon. It wasn't too hot and there was a nice breeze throughout the game. I went with the bf's brother who was in town visiting from Seattle. The best part was that they won!
We also played a friendly game of volleyball with some of the bf's and his brother's friends. His brother and I were on the same team and pretty much dominated over the bf (not to rub it in or anything).
And Benny is as cute as EVER!

Since graduation I have been on the job hunt. I have been applying everywhere even if I don't have the experience. People were right, it is tough to get a job these days. Thank goodness for my friends who work at a local pub & grille because they were able to get me a job while I am on the search for a "BIG girl job". I work there as a hostess, which isn't a hard job at all. While I'm not at work I have been at home trying to get back to eating and living a healthier life. The other day I made these awesome sliders from my Hungry Girl cookbook.
I also got a new canon rebel camera for graduation and was able to use it on a day date with the bf. Here are a few pics of the day...
I have also been spending my days with my lil' guy. He is getting to be so big and even more cute than the day that I got him.
Hope everyone is having a great summer!
